Gaming Setup Ideas: Best Collection [2020]

What’s the one thing every gamer desires?

Well, if I start counting, the list will be countless. Every gamer has their own preferences.

For instance, I asked the same question on Reddit & here’s what a user posted:

That’s damn hilarious – 0 Ping Connection. Although, I don’t know even if it’s scientifically possible.

But yeah! It’s quite frustrating to lose a game simply because of higher ping.

Apart from this,

There’s one more thing a gamer truly desires – A Dream Gaming Setup.

RGB gaming setup…

Theme-based setup…

Truly Wireless Setup….

There are countless options available for you.

Once again it all comes down to your preference.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War

Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War is set to be released on the 13th of November and will be compatible with the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC.

Multiplayer features new and returning game modes and a new game mode called “Fireteam,” which can be played by up to forty players.

FIFA 21

Fifa 21 is due for release on the 9th of October for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, Switch, and Stadia. It will then be released on the 10th of November for the Xbox Series X and the 12th of November for the PS5.

Fifa 21 is packed with features such as new agile dribbling, increased positional awareness to elevate footballers in-game intelligence, and creative runs such as directed runs, directed pass and go, and player lock.

It also has a re-imagined collision system and updates to the fundamentals of football throughout the game. There are in-depth detailing and an improved career mode that improves training, matches, and transfers.

Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite is the sixth Halo Series main entry and the fourteenth game overall. Its release was delayed in August 2020, and it has now been pushed back until 2021 with an exact date to be confirmed.

It is available on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Windows 10 PC. It is the most ambitious Halo game ever built and follows the Master Chief as he confronts the most ruthless foe he’s ever faced. Watch Dogs Legion

The new Watch Dogs Legion is the third installment in the game series and is set to be released on the 29th of October 2020 on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and Microsoft Windows.

The game itself will be set in an open world, in a fictionalized representation of London, with a choice of five main storylines. The game will feature a cooperative multiplayer option that allows up to four players to team up and work together.

Watch Dogs Legion is played from a third-person perspective, and missions can be freely undertaken at any time. Unlike other games within the series, this one allows you to recruit characters from all around the city, which you can make use of in the game.

These are some of the best games due to come out in the next few months. Which ones will you play?

Which Gaming Console Should You Buy?

If you are eager to get back into gaming, you need a gaming console from which to load up your old platform classics, to hop online to play some new first-person shooter team games with strangers across the globe, or to play Fifa when you have your mates around.

If you haven’t had a console since the era of the Mega Drive, you are going to be in for a shock when you consider how much they have advanced. You no longer have to whip in a cartridge and you often don’t even have to put a disc in.

With the emergence of the Internet of Things and all things Wi-Fi, you can now play a game by venturing into the online world. It’s never been so easy to purchase a game and not have a hard copy next to your TV. That isn’t to say that you can’t still head to a video games store to pick up the latest beat ‘em up or driving game. Many thirty-somethings in particular still love the feel of a new game in their hands.

Purchasing a new gaming console is like buying a new car. There are so many makes and varieties, each one has its plus points and negatives, and you would like to take it out for a test drive before you put your money down. Head to a retail center that sells gaming consoles and they will definitely let you have a go.

You need to get a feel for the controls, the graphics, and the sorts of games that are available for the console. Many games span all makes from the Xbox to the Playstation. However, others are exclusive to specific makes and models of gaming console. Take a look at this simple guide that details how video gaming has developed and analyzes the consoles available to help you make an informed decision when you head out console shopping.

Playstation 4

Playstation 4

If you are after an affordable all-rounder, you could do much worse than selecting the classic Playstation 4. This stalwart of the console scene is reliable and intuitive. Having launched seven years ago, this console is now the second best selling games console of all time. This means it is highly sought after and thought of because of its exceptional graphics and gameplay. A massive appeal for the Playstation 4 is its ability to attract the top developers who design exclusive games specifically for the Playstation market. Spider-Man and God of War are two of the most successful titles made exclusively for the gaming console in recent years.

If you are eager to experience the world of virtual reality, the Playstation 4 is a shoe-in for you. No other console offers this gameplay experience. With a Playstation VR headset, you could bring a whole new dynamic to some of the games you enjoy.

If you are after a more sleek visual experience complete with 4K UHD graphics, you will be sorely disappointed, but it’s not too surprising with the price of the gaming console. To keep costs down, Playstation has decided to omit this feature from the repertoire of Playstation 4 plus points.

Out of everything to omit, this is a sensible choice, as when you are playing the game of your choice, the screen resolution is neither here nor there. The biggest negative for the Playstation 4 console is its inability to play previous console incarnation games with ease. Unlike the Nintendo consoles that can play virtually any game from the cube to the switch, the Playstation 4 doesn’t have this capability.

For under $250, the Playstation 4 is hard to beat. A classic and reliable console with some incredible games, the Playstation 4 is awesome. If you have a few more bucks to spend, the Playstation 4 Pro will give you the 4K UHD experience that you are after. At an extra $150, this needs to be a must-have feature for you.

Xbox One

Xbox One

The Xbox One is sleek, simple, and achingly cool in its design. An entry-level gaming console perfect for the younger generation, the Xbox One has a great 1080p display allowing the graphics to sing on your screen. At just $190, the Xbox is easy to save up for.

If you have ever had an older Xbox console and you want to play your older games on your newer system, you can do with ease. This backward compatibility opens up more variety of games to you. This also seems to be an aspect of your gaming that Xbox is willing to facilitate, unlike Playstation who won’t allow you the privilege.

As a home entertainment module, the Xbox surpasses all of its rivals. You can subscribe to Netflix through your console. You can watch the latest box sets, catch up on a movie with Amazon Prime, and watch Youtube with ease. You can even head online and play thunderstruck 2 for free if you fancy a day at the slots. And you can also sample the delights of the inbuilt 4K Bluray player.

While you can play Gears of War with exclusivity on the Xbox, there isn’t the same critical acclaim to the Xbox repertoire of exclusive games. However, whatever game that you do choose to play is crisp, easy on the eye, and the graphics will blow your mind. While graphics used to be a decider in choosing a console, this is now obsolete because the bar is set so high for graphics, each console is excellent in its development.

If you do have more cash to splash, go with the Xbox One X, which is the all-singing all-dancing equivalent of the Playstation 4 Pro. You can enjoy 4K crispness on a whole host of games, giving you the perfect Fifa gameplay. You also get a massive 1TB of inbuilt storage which sounds like plenty, but if you are enjoying the 4K games, you may find that space is taken up very quickly.

Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Switch

At only three years old, the Nintendo Switch is the youngest gaming console in the list. It has been seen by some as the desktop tower PC to the achingly cool 1990s consoles. With the exclusive Super Mario Odyssey, Nintendo has chosen to go in another direction with its collection of games. As in the past, Nintendo has chosen to focus more on fun and excitement rather than gritty realism and gore.

Sure, you can play a first-person shooter or a horror platform, but they don’t focus on the development of these games. Innocent platform classics harking back to the youth of millennials is the psyche that they are trying to tap into. They realize that the people who played their consoles back in the nineties are now parents and want some family-friendly gameplay. The Nintendo Switch offers this in bucket-loads.

The screen won’t be 4K UHD and it won’t even be 1080 – it’s a measly 720. However, the Switch doesn’t boast to be anything else. It makes no apologies for where it focuses its energies. The Nintendo Labo is an awesome way to be more sustainable with your gameplay. A cardboard periphery that you can morph into all different sorts of external gameplay devices is the most intuitive addition to a console for decades. The Japanese innovation is as strong as ever for Nintendo.

The Switch Lite is another addition to the Nintendo family of gaming consoles. This handheld device has an incredible screen that has come on such a long way since the Gameboy of the early nineties. The colour device is large and bulky, meaning that it feels great in the hand. You can play many of the Switch games that you have for your larger console and you can dock the device in your larger device.

Games consoles are no longer the Pong games or the Atari 2600. While these still have a place in video gaming history, there are loads more advanced consoles that you have at your disposal. Mario is still knocking around and has a whole host of games under his belt. His worlds and universes still permeate through gaming culture. The same can be said of the newer games such as Fifa and Call of Duty. These stalwarts of the gaming scene remain in development and are utilized across a range of platforms. It doesn’t matter whether you want to play platforming games, beat ‘em ups, racing classics, or online sports games, you can find a console that suits your gaming needs.

As with many technological advancements, video games consoles have also developed. While it was once a luxury to play a 32-bit console rather than a 16 bit, you can now enjoy the delights of a 4K UHD screen. Graphics are now more realistic than ever before, with movie-like camera angles and cinematography the norm.

If you are eager to purchase a new console, you need to do your research. Consoles are now expensive bits of kit, so consider what you want to get out of your gameplay, and choose the right console for you.

5 Best Racing Games of All Time

Since the inception of racing games, gamers have loved to compete against the clock, and their friends, in virtual simulations. There is an intensity to a racing game, an increase in adrenaline levels, and freedom that doesn’t exist in the real world.

Racing games don’t have to be realistic either; they can be colorful and imaginative – such as Mario Kart or Star Wars Racer. If, however, you’re in the market for an exact rendition of a Formula One car, virtual racing games can provide that too – here are five of the best car games of all time.

Gran Turismo

Gran Turismo is a classic franchise in the racing genre that has seen several incarnations over the last twenty years. The original version was released in 1997 for the Playstation and featured 140 cars and 11 race tracks. The game was an immediate success, offering players two game modes (arcade and simulation) to test out their virtual driving capabilities.

Many sequels and spin-offs followed the original release, all with eager anticipation from fans and enthusiasts. However, there were significant differences in titles over the years, and not all of them were a resounding success. Perhaps the most well-known and much loved Gran Turismo title was Gran Turismo 3, released in 2001. It had fewer cars than previous titles, but they were all excellent creations that yet to be forgotten.

Mario Kart: Double Dash

Every time Nintendo releases new consoles, fans are eager to test out the latest Mario Kart title. There have been some excellent versions over the years, including ones that introduce something novel into the mix – the red shell, the oil slick, the glider, and the double dash. But it’s not just the features that make Mario Kart one of the very best racing games of all time; it’s the playability as well.

Perhaps one of the most iconic and fondly remembered titles is Mario Kart: Double Dash. The title was released for the GameCube in 2003 and received a warm reception from fans and critics. Using 3D Polygon graphics for the racers and introducing new gameplay options, such as cooperative gameplay, allowing two riders to occupy the same kart, the game is also remembered for its superb themed tracks.

F1 2018

If realism is what you look for in a racing game, you probably won’t forget F1 2018 for its graphics, tracks, and playability. Initially released for Microsoft Windows, Playstation 4, and Xbox One, F1 2018 featured substantial revisions from its predecessor, extending the career mode to allow players to develop the engine, chassis, and aerodynamics of the cars.

F1 2018 did an excellent job of approximating the 2018 Formula One World Championship and rendering it a highly playable and entertaining video game. It includes the very same 21 circuits, ten teams, and 20 drivers that participated in the competition, as well as exact digital replicas of cars such as the McLaren M23. This enthralling production is all you need to revisit the 2018 event and make it your own.

Star Wars Episode 1: Racer

Perhaps the best thing to emerge from Star Wars Episode One was the podracing game released in 1999 for the Nintendo 64 and Sega Dreamcast. Fans of the film – if there are any – will be familiar with the dusty landscape of Tatooine and the cast of characters who compete in the action-packed racing sequence. Add to the number of other imaginative tracks and gameplay modes, and the result is an extremely creative racing game not to be overlooked.

There is nothing realistic about it – it falls into the same category of racing games as Wipeout and F-Zero; but if you love virtual racing for the adrenaline rush and competition, as well and unexpected obstacles, then Star Wars Episode One Racer must be high on your list of all-time favorites. Following the release of this title, two more podracing games came out, including Star Wars: Racer Arcade, and Star Wars Racer Revenge, released in 2000, and 2002.

Outrun

Winding back the clock to the mid-eighties, you will find Outrun, one of the first racing video games. First released by Sega in 1986, it was only available in arcade cabinets. The game was developed by Yu Suzuki, a Japanese game designer, and featured graphics that were cutting edge at the time. Suzuki sought inspiration from European landscapes, and the goal of the game is to avoid traffic and reach one of five destinations.

Players control a Ferrari Testarossa Spider from a third-person perspective. The camera angle is close to the ground allowing players to identify closely with the characters. The roads curve and dip challenging players to stay on track, and various obstacles come into view. The game is played against the clock, and there are multiple stages to overcome before winning the trophy. By today’s standards it is undoubtedly tame, but signals the beginning of a new genre.

Modern Skills That Gaming Could Teach

Video games have long had an interesting ability to educate us. We don’t usually think of games as being educational (save for computer games built to teach children basic skills). But almost inadvertently, we can learn everything from math to psychology or any other modern skills from playing games.

Often, when you really start thinking about video games that can teach you lessons, you’ll land on some of the classics. For instance, our post on ’30+ Popular Games Streamers Need to Play in 2020 mentioned poker and chess games that have long been favorites among players — and both have educational components.

Poker and chess can train us in psychology, teach us decision-making and negotiating skills, and even get us thinking about statistics and odds. (There’s a reason that the best poker and chess players you know are probably some of your smarter friends!)

Video Games can also be used to teach modern skills more directly though, and this is what’s interesting moving forward. With so many highly relevant modern skills being digital in nature anyway, it’s interesting to think about what video games might be able to help us with. So without further ado, here are some modern skills that might actually be easier to learn through gaming.

Coding

Coding

Coding may have lost a little bit of its shine in recent years because solutions have emerged for people who don’t know how to do it. Now, if you want to build an app or website, for example, you can find a “low-code” or “no-code” platform that helps you to do it. Nevertheless, coding still has tremendous value.

Inc.’s argument in favor of coding covered that value in two categories: intrinsic (such as problem-solving, attention to detail, and analytical skills) and external (like job appeal, the ability to build digital products, and monetary gain). It also made the argument — perhaps somewhat dramatically — that not learning to code could lead to “professional extinction.”

Again, that final point is dramatic. But the value of coding is still extensive. It can enable you to design your own products, lead to lucrative job opportunities, and even help you to better understand how the internet really works. The problem is that for those who don’t take to it naturally, coding is about as difficult to learn as a foreign language.

However, it’s also something that can be taught through strategic progression and repetition, which can certainly be built into a game. In fact, there are already some video games that endeavor to teach coding — we’d just be interested in seeing a better one.

PCB Creation

PCB Creation

The creation of printed circuit boards is at the core of the majority of our modern tech devices. Greater sophistication in how these PCBs are designed is in part what helps tech companies to make better and better devices — which ultimately makes the design process a hugely significant and distinctly modern skill.

Generally, we’re fortunate enough that there are enough electrical engineers to innovate and create the PCBs we need. But this can also be a fascinating skill to learn, and one that gives people a better understanding of how modern electronics really work.

Currently, it is possible for people to train themselves in PCB design. It’s explained in Altium’s take on PCB viewer downloads that a fairly quick set up can allow for access to digital design tools. In some cases, this means viewing and exploring digital renderings of others’ PCB designs.

But some of these software programs also allow for the actual step-by-step creation of circuit boards. Still, the practice might be more engaging to people without experience if it were presented through a game. It’s actually quite easy to imagine a mobile or PC game, in particular, that would present challenges and guide players through PCB design in order to solve them.

Achievements, awards, and progress (the things that keep gamers playing) could be built based on successful electrical engineering, and soon enough players would be picking up the skill.

Social Media Literacy

Social Media Literacy

In the modern world, social media is not a hobby or a luxury — it’s a skill, and one that we all need to navigate everyday life. Even if you’re not someone who works online or spends time on your own accounts, knowing how to understand social media is a necessity. It exposes you to news, keeps you connected with others, and can even provide you with social outlets or work opportunities.

There’s also more to learn than it seems. Look through Medium’s list of must-have skills for aspiring social media specialist and you’ll likely see a few skills you never really thought about (like trend awareness or deciphering analytics).

And while you don’t necessarily need to master all of these just to be literate in social media, the more you know the better. Regardless of specifics though, this is another subject that could be taught through a game. A mobile experience challenging players to accomplish various things with various types of social posts (perhaps imitating different real-world networks) could actually be pretty competitive and engaging.

Blockchain Navigation

Blockchain Navigation

It wouldn’t hurt for a few video games to teach us about the blockchain, either. The blockchain is basically the technological ledger that houses cryptocurrency transactions. But it’s also being used in other ways now, such that all kinds of communications, deals, and transactions are able to occur in a purely digital manner.

It’s possible that as the blockchain expands further into day-to-day life, it will be presented in a way that demands very little of the average person. Functionally, that is, we might not have to make any changes, even if some of the things we’re doing online are operating via blockchain.

Still, people should begin to develop an understanding of how blockchain tech works, and even how to send and receive cryptocurrency. Teaching all of this directly through a game might be somewhat tiresome — but a lifestyle simulation game in which blockchain simply happened to be the norm for handling transactions could be an excellent training tool for the modern world.

Most video games aren’t primarily concerned with gaming, in the end. But there’s nothing stopping clever developers from teaching practical skills by way of fun, engaging games. And these are just some of the possibilities that come to mind.

#10 New Problems with Minecraft Nether Update

This week on June 23, Minecraft released Nether update for Java & Bedrock editions.

Minecraft Nether Update adds new Nether biomes, materials, enemies, music & lots more.

I guess you already knew that.

Every time a new update comes, it comes at the expense of new & major problems.

That’s the same case with this update.

Now, let’s figure out its 10 major problems.

Minecraft Nether Update Major Problems

Problem 1 – Creative Mode

When playing the java version on PC, there’s an issue with the creative mode.

Whenever I used new armor or blocks, it was turning into stone blocks.

I don’t know but I tried the same again & again.

Everything went vain.

BTW, this problem isn’t limited to the java version of Minecraft.

An Xbox user reported quite a strange error in the subreddit thread.

He was unable to find any new block except allow, deny, and border blocks.

That’s not it.

Even the nether looks the same bedrock version of Minecraft.

Problem 2 – Ticking Areas

When players are in the Overworld, the Ticking Areas from Nether still have all the effects.

In fact, you can’t even see them in /tickingarea list, not unless all-dimensions are set.

As of now, this confirmed bug is detected in Windows 10 PC.

If you’re facing the same issue on any other device, let me know in the comments.

Problem 3 – Ghasts Spawn

Between Minecraft 1.14 and 1.16, Ghasts were completely changed internally.

They became from “Mob” to “Monster”.

By default, monsters are hardcoded to spawn at low light.

Now, the Ghasts spawn only when the light is below 8.

You cannot change them by making changes in JSON based rules.

And btw, the issue is reported for many platforms.

Problem 4 – Camera Issue

In the java edition of Minecraft Nether Update, it possible to pass-through –

  • Glass.
  • Glass Panes.
  • And Iron bars.

using 3rd person camera view.

However, the same option isn’t yet available in the Bedrock edition 1.16.0 update.

At present, this issue is confirmed for the Xbox One gaming console.

Problem 5 – Instant game crash.

Minecraft is reportedly crashing whenever a user tries to use a fill command of walls.

The crash is happening instantly.

The latest crashing bug was first reported on Xbox one with v1.16.0.68 beta & now recently released a 1.16.0 update.

You can check this bug on your gaming console. All you’ve to do is –

  • Use /fill command.
  • As a fill block, use walls.
  • Use the command to make sure the walls will connect as soon as the command is complete.
  • Now, check if the game crashed or not.

If it did then do let me know in the comments section or report it officially to Mojang.

Problem 6 – Witch hat

Several Windows 10 PC users have confirmed that witch hat from character creator isn’t following head movements.

Not only this, but some users also reported that even their fake villager’s nose got frozen because of this.

Problem 7 – Entity Drop Loot

A Nintendo switch user reported that the Entities drop loot option isn’t working in the latest Minecraft Nether Update.

The user turned off “Entities Drop Loot” option in the world creation menu.

However, even after disabling-enabling the option again & again, mobs dropped their loot.

Problem 8 – Offhand animation

Multiple users reported offhand animation related problems with all the zombies (except drowned).

So, it means, every time a zombie has an item in its offhand, it tends to position it correctly.

As if it is a real player.

Later when the zombies are attacking an object, it crosses its arms to make it look like they are charging a bow.

And btw, this issue is reopened after affecting Minecraft version 1.14.60 Hotfix.

Problem 9 – Chunk loading

After the latest 1.16.0 Minecraft Nether Update, several users reported problems related to random and slow chunk load.

As a result of this, there’s a major problem when flying with elytra or flying around in the creative mode.

Not only this, it gets a hell of difficulty in traversing the world.

As far as I know, this issue is mainly reported by Nintendo Switch and iPad pro-2018 users.

Problem 10 – Map pointer

Now comes the final major problem that came with Minecraft Nether Update.

This time, its map pointer causing the havoc.

It’ll work fine.

As long as you’re near the edge of the map, you’re fine.

However, the moment you try to approach the edges, the map pointer jumps straight to a random spot.

And later it stops moving all of a sudden.

BTW, it’s not happening one or two times.

Every time you try to go to edges, you get the same result.

Final Words

These are some major problems that the developers need to fix for a smooth gaming experience.

Besides, there are several other minor issues reported. However, none of them creates a major problem in Gameplay.

By chance, if I missed any major issue in the latest Minecraft Nether Update, do let me know about it in the comments section.

That’s all for now. I’ll update once there’s a solution to these major problems. In the meanwhile, take a look at ultimate Minecraft Modpack Launcher collection.

Twitch TV: 17 Proven Ways to Grow Your Channel Quickly

Throughout this blog, I’ve said –

Do this, Do that…

Where’s the f***ing solution (logical one, obviously)?

How can gaming streamers rank their videos on Twitch TV?

There’s a proven way – A Checklist.

To be precise, I’ve named it a Twitch TV streaming checklist.

Implement these suggestions on your Twitch channel,

And see the result yourself.

Now, let’s get to the main part –

Twitch TV Checklist for Newbie Streamers

Define your Goal

That’s the critical part.

Remember,

A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder,Thomas Carlyle

So, before starting your streaming career, make sure,

You’ve defined the goal.

What do you want to achieve in how much time?

Identify your style

Now the next question you need to ask yourself is –

What type of gaming streamer do you want to be?

One game expert or variety games streamer or Professional Gamers?

Each of them has its sets of pros. & cons.

So, take your time & choose wisely.

Channel Presentation

First impression is the last impression.

Keep this in mind.

This way, you can get an edge over others.

To get a detailed look into this, you can check this video by CreoVox

In an easy & detailed way, he has explained how you can customize your twitch channel.

Find the Right Time to Stream

Once you figured out the type of streamer you want to be,

Or what kind of games you want to play,

It’s time for you to find the right time to stream. Look at the image attached below –

Pokemon Blue vs. Pokemon Red & Blue

You see, as per the stats reported by Twitch Tracker, peak time reaches around 20:30 GMT.

And from then, viewership starts to decline.

Finally, at around, 07:30 GMT it hits bottom.

Here, I would suggest you change the timing here and there to what works best for you.

P.S., BTW, avoid the sudden peak of June 11. That’s only because of the official PS5 release by Sony.

Stick to a schedule

Once you know the right time,

Stick to it. Go live only around that time.

Make it a schedule. Don’t miss a single day.

No matter what it is.

You can make highlight videos of the stream & use them as a contingency for a missed stream.

Choosing the Right Games

That’s the most crucial part.

To find the right game, you must ask yourself these questions –

Do I enjoy this game?

Does this game excite me or make me curious?

How’s the competition?

If a particular game checks all these questions, then you can start with that game.

However, if you ask me,

I’ll recommend you to play retro games like Pac-man, Pokemon Games, Super Mario, Minecraft & more.

Retro Games

Collaborations

If you’re looking for a way to increase your followers rapidly on Twitch TV,

Collaboration with big streamers is what you need.

Thousands of viewers watching you ”LIVE”. Imagine how much exposure you can get.

Now, the question is how to approach big streamers?

Here’s an 11-minute video that’ll guide you ahead –

Pro tip: –

Don’t get nervous when thousands are watching you ”LIVE”.

Be yourself & impress the audience with your showcasing your points.

Discord Server

Today in 2020, the best way to get in touch with your audience is Discord App.

Create a Discord Server, add Discord bots, integrate with Twitch TV.

And invite your followers to it.

That’s it. You’re good to go.

Now, watch this short video before going ahead –

Once the integration is complete, you are all set to interact with your audience.

Do a voice chat with them or run a promotional giveaway.

There’s a lot more for you in the Discord App.

Mic Optimization

Everyone knows about this, but only handfuls of users do something to optimize their mic.

On platforms like Twitch, you need to look professional.

And optimizing the mic for the streaming platform is one step forward in the right direction.

Setting up Filters, Levels is basic. Check out this video –

See how easy it is to configure Advanced Mic Settings for OBS Studio.

Discord Voice Changer

Once advanced mic customization is complete, it’s time for you to add the fun element in your stream.

A discord voice changer is quite a useful tool if you want to change your voice to something funnier.

It can be a Robot filter, helium filter, or 100’s’s more. The choice is yours.

To know more about it, do check out my other post on Discord Voice Changer.

Here I’ve added 175+ voice changer effects.

Webcam Optimization

Assume you’re watching a stream on Twitch TV,

And all of a sudden, streamers video quality deteriorates.

That doesn’t look good, right?

So, what’s the solution? See this video below & you’ll know how easy it is –

Twitch Inspector Tools

Playing & streaming games can get tough when you encounter serious issues with the broadcast.

For your help, there’s a tool called Twitch Inspector Tool.

Instead of manually looking for ongoing broadcast issues, it helps automate the diagnose process.

Be it dropped frames, bitrate issue, or lag.

Whatever it is, Twitch Inspector Tool will tell you the right reason with a proper fix.

Catchy Stream Titles

Benjamin Franklin once said,

Honesty is the Best Policy

Today in 2020, when it comes to streaming, it’s’s solely relevant.

You see, I’ve seen many streamers use misleading stream titles to pull a live audience.

But that’s wrong.

Honest stream titles with a pinch of creativity work anything like wonders.

There’s a lot of things you can do to the title without deceiving the audience. Here’s all you can do –

  • Use anger, fear, or excitement as an emotion to attract the audience to your stream.
  • Use emoji that sets you apart from a large pool of streamers.
  • Try to use inside jokes.

Here are some examples of impressive Twitch Titles –

“I almost peed in my pants” instead of “Playing Amnesia: The Dark Descent.”

Twitch TV Optimization

Today when there’s quite high competition on Twitch TV,

It gets a bit hard for a newbie to leave a mark.

To make sure you do not miss out on this part,

Twitch tv allows you to control the thumbnail, title, gaming category, language, tags & description.

If you’re a growing twitch streamer, then it’s super crucial for you to include all the things I said earlier.

Now the question is how you would do it? It’s’s quite easy.

Supposing you’re playing RPG game Lost Odyssey.

Set it as your primary keyword.

Later add it at the beginning of Video Title, Video Description & Tags.

Remember, “To stay ahead of the Race, you got to Adapt.”

Royalty-Free Music

Using royalty-free music is an excellent addition to a video or clip.

It can save you from using copyright music in your videos.

Before going ahead, do check out these royalty-free music playlists on Spotify & YouTube.

Streaming Client

Manually setting up for an online stream is a hectic task.

To make it easier for you, we have streaming clients like OBS Studio, Streamlabs OBS & many.

Once installed on your PC, they will do every tedious task for you.

Instead of doing everything, it will configure recommended settings based on your internet speed & computer hardware.

BTW, in my case, I used OBS Studio.

Interaction

Now, we’re close to an end.

Throughout the post of recommended you to do ”this,” or ”that.”

However, none of this matters.

Yeah! I repeat, none of this matter, until or unless you interact with your audience.

Even if only 3-4 viewers are watching, you got to interact with them.

Many people join Twitch TV to make new friends.

Make them feel like they part of your Twitch tv family.

Use Bots, give Shoutouts, Whispers,

Or,

Do whatever you can, give your best in interacting with them.

This way, even your followers can contribute to your channel growth.

Final Words

That’s all for now.

I guess this post would help & motivate a newbie streamer to start his/her streaming channel.

After reading this post, if you’ve any legit questions, then do let me know in the comments section below.

I’ll try everything in my power to help you out.
