We have known WishTel as a low-cost tablet manufacturer and the latest to join its list of budget tablets is the IRA Thing 2. The tablet is available in India for Rs 6,500 through retail outlets as well as on WishTel’s Web site.

The IRA Thing 2 features a 7-inch multi-touch screen running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. A 1.5GHz processor coupled with 512MB of RAM lends power to the device, while the 4GB of internal memory is expandable through a microSD up-to 32GB and there’s a 1.3MP front camera for video chats. The tablet offers 4 hours of browsing via its 3000 mAh battery.

Other features include Wi-Fi, 3G and HDMI out. The tablet also comes with a TV app that allows users to access over 120 TV channels, while the E-News app gives access to news from over 55 multi-linguistic newspapers across India.
