This time Intel has managed to convince ZTE for including the Intel Atom Z2460 processor in a recently announced handset, the ZTE Grand X IN.

Although the market share is low; but the Intel Atom processors is able to penetrate comparatively more this year. We already have seen phones like Lava Xolo, Orange San Diego, Lenovo LePhone K800 and few from local Russian manufacturers.

This time the chip maker has managed to convince ZTE for including the Intel Atom Z2460 processor in a recently announced handset, the ZTE Grand X IN. The processor is clocked at 1.6 GHz (single–core) and this phone is packed with Intel Graphics Media Accelerator clocked at 400MHz. RAM is settled at 1 GB.

We have an 8MP rear camera and also a VGA camera resting on top of the 4.3 inch display. The ZTE Grand X In comes packed with Android 4.0 ICS. The body seems to be plastic including the bezel. The battery power is settled at 1650mAh and integrated with the Intel Smart Idle Technology helps it to balance the processor equation; thus providing a back up for one full day at least.

Internal storage is 16 GB with a micro SD slot provided for external storage up to 32 GB. NFC connectivity, Dolby Sound, FM Radio, DLNA and HD Voice with dual microphones makes up for additional features.

There’s a scene here though in terms of availability. The Grand X IN has only been announced for Greece, Hungary and Germany and there is no mentioning about the United States or other countries. Price probably would be around €300.
