Virgin Mobile gives you the Samsung Galaxy Reverb for $250
Virgin Mobile has introduced its first Galaxy class device the Samsung Galaxy Reverb. The handset is set to hit stores in September for $250, while pre-booking is scheduled to go live on August 29th. Virgin Mobile finally has a handset to offer from Samsung‘s Galaxy line of smartphones. According to Engadget, Virgin Mobile has introduced the Samsung Galaxy Reverb and the handset is set to hit stores this September for $250, while the pre-order is scheduled to start on August 29th.
As gathered from Engadget, the Samsung Galaxy Reverb features a 4-inch touch display that offers a resolution of 800 x 480p. The device runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and comes powered by a 1.4GHz single core processor. The handset offers 4GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card slot that supports up-to 64GB. The handset also features a 5MP rear camera with flash as well as a 1.3MP front camera.
For connectivity, the handset features Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device weighs around 4.54 ounces and measures 0.44-inch in depth.
So the Virgin Mobile faithful can finally boast of having their own Galaxy class device and looking at the specs and hardware, the Galaxy Reverb is pretty decent. Top that up with Ice Cream Sandwich and you have a device that can hold its own.
