The TracFone version of the LG Optimus Zip features a sideways QWERTY slider and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread.  

The TracFone version of the LG Optimus Zip features a sideways QWERTY slider and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It sports a 3.2-inch touch display capable of providing 320 x 480 pixels of resolution. A 3.2-megapixel camera rests at the rear side with video capture. Other known features include 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0+EDR, and CDMA-EVDO 3G.

The Optimus Zip is powered by an 800MHz processor, and supports microSD cards up to 32GB.

TracFone has not yet announced pricing or availability for the Optimus Zip. The Optimus Zip is also branded as the LG Enlighten / Optimus Slider for other carriers. We will keep you updated as and when we get to know more of the features for the TracFone version.

This phone was displayed on the LG official website up till yesterday. Strangely, today the page doesn’t exist anymore.

There isn’t any news currently floating around whether this will travel internationally. TracFone has also not revealed the pricing and availability details.
