The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and Galaxy S Advance will receive Jelly Bean upgrades soon. This has been posted on the Samsung Bulgaria Facebook page

If Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and Galaxy S Advance owners have been lamenting over an Android 4.0 ICS upgrade, Samsung has thought of something better for you. Your phones will receive the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean directly without a phased transition manner.

A Bulgarian blogger happened to contact Samsung’s local branch there to get this confirmation. That guy being a member of the GSMArena forum passed on the news to them. Currently both these handsets run Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Interestingly, no words on a future ICS upgrade was provided at the time of release. So Jelly Bean for that matter would be exhilarating for the users.

This has been out on the Samsung Bulgaria Facebook page and if Samsung is indeed working on the update; I guess it’s time for these handset owners to enjoy some beers.
