The new Blackberry Playbook 4G has focused especially on the network compatibility and some enhanced hardware primarily a 1.5 GHz dual core processor.

The new BlackBerry Playbook 4G has been announced and will run on 4G LTE networks this time. It is being made available in RIM’s hometown and will travel other geographies subsequently.

Let us quickly look at what the new BlackBerry Playbook 4G has to offer.

On the display side, it has a 7.0 Inches TFT touchscreen providing a resolution of WVGA, 600 x 1024 pixels. The new BlackBerry Playbook runs on BlackBerry Tablet OS v2.0

For capturing pictures, it’s loaded with a 5 MP primary camera and 3 MP secondary camera.

On the internet and connectivity side, HTML5 and Adobe Flash are the pre-installed browsers, supports 3G (HSDPA 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 / 800), 4G (LTE 700 / 1700), Wifi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS, Bluetooth v2.1, DLNA and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

The memory is backed by an internal storage of 32 GB but no expandable card slot. RAM is 1 GB.
