The big news yesterday was the release of the second generation Series 9 Ultrabook by Samsung India, but there were three other Ultrabooks that were on display as well – the 15.6-inch Series 5 550P, the 14-inch Series 5 530U and the 15.6-inch Series 3 350V.

Series 5

The difference between the 550P and the 530U goes beyond the screen-sizes. The 530U sports the i5 3317U whereas the 550P has the i5 3210M. There is an obvious resolution difference because of the different screen sizes, which also contributes to the difference in weight (1.81kg to 2.5kg).

The 550P comes with 8GB DDR3 RAM as opposed to the 6GB on the 530U. The 550P has an upgraded Nvidia GPU with both having Optimus technology. The 550P also has JBL speakers.

Some other specifications,

  • 1TB HDD
  • 1.3MP camera
  • Lots of software

The 550P will cost INR 52,990 and the 530U will set you back by INR 56,990. Check out some exclusive pictures below.

Series 3

There was also an entry-level Series 3 350V Ultrabook. It has a 15.6-inch screen, i5 Processor 3210M CPU, 4GB DDR3 RAM, Radeon HD7670M GPU with 2GB RAM, and a webcam. It has a 6-cell battery.

Some other specifications,

  • 2.5kg
  • Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit
  • Anti-reflection coating on screen
  • Bluetooth 4.0

The 350V will cost you INR 48,490. Check out our hands-on pictures below. It comes in three colours – blue, pink and silver.
