Samsung released Series 9 Ultrabook for India, we go hands-on
Samsung Series 9 Ultrabook introduced for the Indian Customers at a price of Rs 1,02,990.
Samsung launched the Series 9 Ultrabook for the Indian consumers. The device was introduced internationally only a few days ago. The company also showed the device running with a Windows 8 preview at the IFA conference. This Ultrabook will be offered to the Indian consumers for Rs 1,02,990.
This 13.3inch Ultrabook has a display which is capable of supporting 1600 x 900 pixels and the brightness is also rated at 400 nits. This device is also said to be the slimmest device in the world till date with only 12.9mm height and also weighs as low as 1.16kg.
This device sports Intel’s i7 Ivy Bridge CPU with a clock speed of 1.9GHz. It also has a 4GB or DDR3 RAM, and comes with a 256GB SSD. For display support it has HD Graphics 400 and is also equipped a 1.3 megapixel web camera. Currently the device will be sporting Windows 7 platform but later on you will be able to upgrade the device to Windows 8 too which will be made available on October 26.
The device will also have all the essential specifications too as the micro-HDMI, VGA, one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 along with a memory card reader. It is also equipped with a 6-cell battery and is said to give a backup of about 9 hours.
