Samsung officially announces the Galaxy Note 10.1 with all superb specs revealed

Eventually it took six months for Samsung to officially announce the Galaxy Note 10.1. few days back, we reported that Samsung has plans of showcasing the Note 10.1 on the August 15th event. But now that they have announced, we do have the whole lot of specs before us to guide you through.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 is powered by a speed king Exynos 4412 Quad-core 1.4 GHz processor runs on the Android v4.0.3 (IceCream Sandwich) OS. As of now there isn’t any updates on a Jelly Bean upgrade but the Android v4.0.3 makes it clear that the Tab is definitely optimized for Jelly Bean. A Li-Po 7000 mAh battery ensures an equilibrium of resisitance from the hungry processor.
On the display side, it has a significant size of 10.1 Inches PLS TFT touchscreen providing a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels. The screen is multitouch and Sammy has it’s own TouchWiz UI incorporated.
For capturing, it’s loaded with an 5 MP quality primary and a 1.9 MP secondary camera with features like Simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, face and smile detection.
On the internet and connectivity side, HTML, Adobe Flash are the preinstalled browsers, supports GPRS (Class 12, 48 kbps), Edge (Class 12), 3G (7.2 Mbps HSDPA; 5.76 Mbps HSUPA), Wifi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS, Bluetooth v2.1, DLNA and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Also, in addition to the standard United States GPS, Samsung has also incoporated the Russian based GPS system called as GLONASS. It will be available in Wi-Fi only, Wi-Fi plus HSPA+, and a Wi-Fi plus LTE version also that will arrive a bit later in the year.
The memory is backed by an internal storage of 64 GB storage with an expandable card slot of 64 GB. RAM is 2 GB.
Additional features include MP4/DivX/Xvid/FLV/MKV/H.264/H.263 player, MP3/WAV/eAAC+/Flac player, Organizer, Document editor, Image editor, Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar, Google Talk, Picasa integration, Voice memo/dial, Predictive text input (Swype). There’s a TV out jack also via a MHL A/V link.
To differentiate this from other Tabs, the Note 10.1 comes with a S Pen Experience (S Note, S Planner, My Story) and a Wacom digitizer. Moreover, Apps like Adobe photoshop touch and Adobe Ideas have been included as the part of the device. These apps otherwise cost $ 10 each. Also some Samsung pen-enabled apps like Slice It!, Comic Book, Catch Notes, Touchnote, and Hello Crayon has been included.
