Samsung Nexus Prime is the first Ice-cream Sandwich phone?
Samsung Legal dept. accidentally leaked the existence of the next Google developers’ phone, and guess what – the Nexus Prime could be the first Android 4.0 Ice-cream Sandwich phone! Ice-cream Sandwich is Google’s next edition of Android platform after Honeycomb that promises to run on both smartphone and tablet form factors. No more separate Android versions for different form factors.
Apart from this, the Nexus Prime is rumored to sport a 1.5GHz dual-core Exynos SoC processor and Super AMOLED HD screen. Other features are,
- OMAP 4460 chip or an ultra low-power 28nm processor
- 720p HD Screen
- 1080p video recording
- HiDef Video Playback
- 4G LTE
- 1GB Ram
- Advanced rear and front cameras
My God, if you are like me, you would postpone all smartphone purchasing plans to wait for this dude to arrive sometime in October. iPhone 5 has some serious competition now!

That is too bad as I recently bought the Nexus S but what I am thinking is that ICS will definitely cone to other devices esp. Nexus S because if it does not then it would not be fair on Google's part. Also, the price of iPhone 5 is being rumored to be above 40k in Indiavat launch. Seeing the specs of the Nexus Prime, I think the price would be somewhere between 32k-35k at launch. So, I think I will be happy with my Nexus S for quite some time.
