The Samsung Gogh features a 4.0-inch AMOLED display, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm S4 processor, 5 megapixel camera resting at the back and built in NFC capabilities.

Budget phones on one side, high end phones on the other side; Samsung isn’t stopping. Samsung Gogh is the new budget friendly mid-ranged smartphone. Samsung Goph is what the phone would be called as otherwise codenamed Samsung SPH-L300.

The specs look decent except the fact that the phone will run Android 4.0 IceCream sandwich instead of the latest version Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Oh, and also the device is not going to work on the 4G network. However, these are facts that are circulating around the web and not on the official Samsung website. Things might change and there are chances. 4G LTE network and a phone with a 1.2 GHz processor actually deserves that much.

Reports claim about 4.0-inch AMOLED display, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm S4 processor, 5 megapixel camera resting at the back and built in NFC capabilities. By virtue of BriefMobile, we have got to see a view of the Samsung Goph. Except for the size, BriefMobile is claiming that the phone closely resembles the HTC One X.

While we come back with the rest of the specs as we get to know more, what are your views on this new Sammy baby?
