Samsung Galaxy S3 becomes the most popular phone in UK
Since the launching of the Samsung Galaxy S3, it did not need any more time than a week to overthrow the Apple iPhone 4S from its position and become the most popular phone in the UK.
The Smartphone war is now clearly set between the two most appreciated companies- Samsung and Apple. The Apple iPhone 4S was successful in taking over the Samsung Galaxy S2 last month, but the successor of S2 was easily able to take over the market and defeat Apple’s iPhone 4S.
Ernest Doku from uSwitch has already predicted that the one-two punch from the S2 and S3 augur well for the continued strong showings for Samsung in the Mobile’s Tracker.
Whilst the Samsung Galaxy S3 is at #1 spot, followed by the iPhone 4S at #2, the Galaxy S2 has still made it to the #3 spot and is still in action.
Doku mentioned that light weight from the brushed polycarbonate casing, 4.8 inch Super AMOLED screen are sure to give the Apple iPhone quite a chase for its money.
Not far from the Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy series is the HTC One Series which is providing some serious competition to the Sony Xperia S which happens to be hanging at the end of the rankings.
