Canon unveils another camera due for display at the photokina. This time it is the PowerShot S110 which is added to the PowerShot line of models available. When you have the first look at the device it quite resembles the PowerShot S100, but this device adds Wi-Fi capability. Because of this connectivity option it can easily be connected with the Smartphone devices and further enables you to upload pictures and tagging images using you phones GPS.

Apart from these new features it also has the general specifications as a 12.1 megapixel, 1/1.7-inch CMOS sensor and sports a f/2.0-5.9, 24-120mm lens. It also has an ISO level ranging from 80 to 12800. It has a 3inch LCD touch display with 460k dots. The menu functions can easily be managed using the touch display. However, it also has the traditional menu keys available for the users who are not very accustomed with the touch display.

The S110 offers a RAW capture and is capable of capturing a 1080/24p video. It also has a popup flash to its left. The device is priced at $450. As reported by engadget the company has displayed a white and a black model of the camera at the Photokina. They have also mentioned that the black version includes a matte black finish while the white model has a glossy paint job.
