Here’s one classic hint at another Windows phone unveiling, or who knows tablets too. Nokia along with it’s platform partner Microsoft seem to have sent invitations for a collaborative event scheduled on the 5th of September.

The event which will be held in New York City has all possibilities of unearthing few devices. That sounds evident due to the immense number of Windows phone rumors being circulating this year.

Rather than “Nokia unveiling a Windows phone”, it would be precise if we say ““Nokia unveiling a Windows 8 phone” because that’s where the excitement is concentrated on.

Few days back, reference designs for the first Windows 8 phone was all over the web. A 4.3 inched referenced design with rectangular curved edges and rumored to possess a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. In case the reference design turns out to be in sync with the actual, the move might be welcomed as this would be a deviation from the traditional rectangular straight edges.

The phone is rumored to bear the name Nokia Lumia Phi (Φ), which signifies 21st letter of the Greek alphabet.
