No more $25 Google Play credit for Nexus 7 after tomorrow
After tomorrow that is September 30, owners of the Google Nexus 7 won’t be able to avail the $25 worth of Google Play credit that came bundled with the tablet. The promotional offer that entitled owners of the Nexus 7 to a $25 Google Play credit is expiring tomorrow
The Google Nexus 7 tablet comes bundled with a $25 credit payable on Google Play on purchase. But now the company has decided to stop the promotional offer. According Engadget, the $25 worth of Play credit would expire after this Sunday that is September 30. So, owners of the Google Nexus 7 who have been saving on their $25 Google Play credit now is a good time to spend it all on your favorites.
The decision doesn’t come as a surprise since the offer was for promotional purpose in the first place and like The Wiseman has once said: “All good things must come to an end”, we couldn’t have hoped for the $25 credit to last forever.
And for those oblivious of the Nexus 7, it is the first tablet from Google which has been designed by Asus. The Google Nexus 7 is priced at $199 for the basic model (8GB) and features a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800p. The tablet runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 3 quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and 1GB of RAM.
Other features include micro USB 2.0, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, camera and a 4325mAh battery that offers up-to 8 hours of usage.
