New line of tablet series from Samsung; Samsung Espresso Tablets
A new leaked document has surfaced and which hints at Samsung trying to move away from their traditional galaxy line of tablets. Samsung Espresso, as the document suggests would be the name of Sammy’s new tablet series. Espresso would comprise of 7 and 10 inch tablets mostly and are expected by summer this year. Apart from the screen sizes, other specs are shy. Also, no news has surfaced as to how Sammy would be differentiating Espresso from the current Galaxy series.
The document lists down the espresso series under the smartview category, which is again a Samsung Smart TV feature. The Korean company might be planning to integrate these into Samsung’s TV products, a case which is not valid in their earlier Tablet series. Samsung’s Smart View Android app connects your mobile device to your Samsung TV. That strongly indicates that the Espresso series might include this app.
Those who are aware about Sammy working on quad-core Exynos processor have all rights to speculate incorporation of the same on the Espresso series. Rumors have also surfaced that these tablets would sport Full HD (1920×1200) resolution touchscreens.
No exact launch date has been specified on the document, but reports from UnwiredView suggest a date somewhere around June.
