Motorola unpacked three new smartphones in the Wednesday (Sep 5th) event; the Motorola Droid RAZR HD, Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX HD and then the mid-segment handset, Motorola RAZR M.

Motorola unpacked what was most anticipated in the Wednesday (Sep 5th) event; the Motorola Droid RAZR HD, Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX HD and then the mid-segment handset, Motorola RAZR M.
Motorola Droid RAZR HD:
The Motorola Droid RAZR HD will come with a 4.7″ edge-to-edge Super AMOLED display and Android 4.0 ICS out of the box. The rear side would be comprised of Kevlar just as the original Droid RAZR. Additionally, the coating has been extended around the edges of the handset.
A Qualcomm dual-core Krait CPU chipset will fuel the Droid RAZR HD and 2,530mAh battery will take care of the handsets live performance. By the way, Moto claims the talktime is 16 hours. It will pack 1 GB RAM, a 225 GPU and an 8 MP rear shooter.
Internal memory is settled at 16 GB and a micro SD card slot is provided for additional storage. Regular features include NFC connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and an HDMI port.
Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX HD:
As the name implies, yes it is a MAXX version of the RAZR HD. The screen size remains the same but the CPU has been overclocked to 1.5 GHz dual-core. And the inbuilt internal memory has been increased to 32 GB. Moreover, the name RAZR MAXX is directly proportional to a massive battery power of 3300mAh. Like it cousin, the Droid RAZR MAXX HD would be running Android 4.0 ICS.
Motorola Droid RAZR M:
The Motorola Droid RAZR M comes last in the queue when it comes to specs, but this is the handset that rendered maximum leaks. The Droid RAZR M will come with Android 4.0 out of the box and the CPU is clocked to 1.5 GHX dual core again. It’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon, that’s for sure but we don’t have the series details available.
Motorola is very keen on providing Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to this handset and they did announce it in the event.
The Motorola Droid RAZR M is the only phone for which the pricing details is leaked. $99 (with a two-year contract) is what Verizon would be charging for this handset.
