London gets to have the first glimpse of the Samsung Galaxy S3 on May 3rd
Update: You can watch the live stream here.
After months of speculations, we might finally have a chance to relish the release of “The” successor called Samsung Galaxy S3! Yes, the most-awaited successor to the probably what could be the best phone ever – the S2, will be unveiled at London on May 3rd.
In a communication sent out by Samsung, they mentioned in the invite – “come and meet the next Galaxy” – we don’t suppose that will be anything less than the Galaxy S3, aftermath of the Galaxy S2.
There have been numerous rumors of what the Galaxy S3 will look like, and what all features it will boast of – but none seems to be official. There have also been press invites turned out to be other mobile launches. But this time things look pretty likely after the time-frame and the riddle on the invitation mails seem to complement each other.
The Galaxy S2 has won enough awards to shame Walt Disney, and one of the few Smartphones that actually sold more than the iPhones, and far more than other Android handsets. The S2 is famous mainly because of its cutting edge technology-laden feature list, feather weight and superior performance that position it as an all-rounder among other monsters.
The Galaxy lines of devices are Samsung’s Android powered toys that also include the Galaxy Note and Galaxy Tab series. But if we leave out the Note and Tab series due to their different scopes – S2 is the top predator right now, ready to be taken over by a powerful beast.
The event is at London’s Earls Court Exhibition Centre, and kicks off at 7pm. Keep a tap on Nothing Wired to know what comes your way. In the meantime, let us know what features you would want to see on your Galaxy S3 in the comments below.
