Logitech has announced two new gaming headsets, called the G933 Artemis Spectrum Wireless 7.1 Gaming Headset and the G633 Artemis Spectrum Gaming Headset. The company has revamped its older G930 headset with the two new variants. with the new gaming headsets, Logitech seems to take the competition head-on. “We saw that no one was really building a pair of high quality headphones for gamers, so we challenged our audio team to see if they could do it,” said Ujesh Desai, Logitech.
While the G633 is wired, the G933 is 2.4GHz wireless with the option to plug in a standard 3.5mm audio cable. Also, both headsets allow you to plug into multiple audio sources simultaneously. They features a toggle on the back of the headset (near the volume dial) to switch between them. The G633 features one USB input and one analog input, while the 933 features one USB input and two analog inputs.
Both the G633 and G933 gaming headsets feature Logitech’s ‘patent-pending Pro-G audio drivers’ which are made with hybrid mesh materials. According to Logitech, the Pro-G drivers deliver both clean and accurate highs as well as a deep rich bass. The headsets are equipped with both Dolby and DTS Headphone:X technology for 7.1 surround.
The headsets also have swappable backlit speaker plates with RGB lighting that can be customized to more than 16 million different colors along with three programmable G-keys. You can use these headsets for your PC, Xbox One, PS4 and mobile devices.
The Logitech G633 Artemis Spectrum Gaming Headset will available in late September at a suggested retail price of $149.99 while the Logitech Artemis Spectrum Wireless 7.1 Gaming Headset will be available in October at a suggested retail price of $199.99.
