In the past month of March, sources reported about the S2109 IdeaTab Lenovo tablet. Well, if you liked what you saw, the good news is that the tablet has been officially revealed. For those not familiar, the IdeaTab S2109 is a tablet with IPS display 9.7, running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, it has unique quadraphonic speakers, support for SRS TruMedia, battery with 10 hours and a thickness of 8.9mm. The tablet will have support for Google App Shop Play and Lenovo.

So far, they have not revealed when it will be available or at what price, but according to sources, those details will be announced soon. As we await the arrival of such information, enjoy the video attached to the note.

In short, everyone is delighted since Lenovo is bringing its latest tablet, the IdeaPad S2109. This machine with the OS Ice Cream Sandwich has a thickness of 8.9 mm and comes with a 9.7-inch 4:3 screen similar to the iPhone instead of the 10.1-inch 16:10 display we see in Most tablets Android in that size range. It also comes with a 1024×768 resolution, the same resolution as the previous generation of Cases (the new model has a 2048×1536 resolution).

Among the above technical specifications, it includes a 1.3 megapixel front camera, four speakers SRS-ready at the back, a microUSB port, microSD and microHDMI. Lenovo did not reveal anything about its processor or its RAM. Conversley, according to a source who spoke to Engadget the device comes with a chip OMAP4 and assume that it has 1GB of RAM.

Thus, Lenovo is promoting the unibody chassis of the tablet and a metallic finish “gunmetal” but did not mention whether it is really metal or not. As this tablet provides a platform Android 4.0 ICS, users will experience Google skinless Play and can access Lenovo app store to download apps from other companies.
