Lenovo announces the Windows 8 powered IdeaTab Lynx for $600 and up
Lenovo has announced to launch the IdeaTab Lynx for $600 and up. The tablet is scheduled to ship this December and would come in two variants offering 32GB and 64GB of SSD. The features Windows 8 and Intel’s Clover Trail processor
Lenovo is on a roll. The company has announced another Windows 8 powered tablet called the IdeaTab Lynx, which is targeted at the mainstream consumers. According to Engadget, the Lenovo IdeaTab Lynx is set to retail for a price starting at $600 while shipping is expected to start this December. It also comes with an optional keyboard dock for an additional $150.
The Lenovo IdeaTab Lynx features an 11.6-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768p and runs on Windows 8. The tablet comes powered by a 1.8GHz dual core Intel Atom Z2760 Clover Trail processor along with 2GB of RAM. The tablet is available in two variants of 32GB and 64GB of SSD.
Other features include a 2MP front camera, microSD card slot, micro USB port, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0, dual stereo speakers, dual microphones and micro HDMI port. The tablet packs a 6800mAh that promises upto 8 hours of usage.
Physically the tablet measures 9.45mm in depth and weighs around 1.4 pounds.
The detachable dock comes with two full size USB 2.0 ports and together with the tablet offers 16 hours of extended battery life.
