Kindle Touch gets a major software update; available for download now
April 27th is just around the corner, marking the highly anticipated Touch Kindle landing on European soil, it was about time for Amazon to make some adjustments in the computer software. Thus, it is already running smoothly. As indicated by the support site, among other things, the update to version 5.1.0 will be used to teach the reader a few popular languages (and now has Spanish, American English or British, German, French, Italian or Portuguese Brazil), horizontal format your readings, instant translation of a word by Bing and the “read it”, that will help move your text to speech.
As if this was not enough, sections have also improved the organization of the different titles you have in your collection or WiFi connection and added new options for sharing your findings on Facebook and Twitter without having to leave the reading.
If you’ve managed to throw the rope to one of these devices, you know you can manually download the update from the read link (where, incidentally, will also find detailed information in other languages for each of the changes). Of course if you have not yet invested, you can always check which model suits you best. There is always something to meet everyone budget.
