President Simon SegarsAny Smartphone/Tablet aficionado must be aware of ARM processors-because of its extended presence across these devices. Like earlier, 2011 was a considerable year for them with a broad range of Smartphone and tablets being manufactured by both Mass and Niche players. ARM has almost played a monopoly all these years and then something happened at this year’s CES. Intel re-introduced Medfield (after a failure with LG earlier) again here at CES, bringing in some stiff competition in the pipeline for ARM (Or no competition at all!)

The Verge had an interview with ARM, Inc. president Simon Segars who doesn’t seem to be surprised of this Intel entry though. Better off with the video below.
