Huawei Sonic U8650 review: Cloud power
Introduction:
For every flagship smartphones, there might be ten chinese look-alikes flooding the market at the same time. For an entry-level device, there might be even more. So we won’t be surprised if you have that look of skepticism about any Chinese company (except maybe Lenovo after they bought Thinkpad) – even more so if you happen to know that the Chinese mobile industry epicenter is in Shenzhen. Yes, Huawei is a Chinese company, yes it is based out of Shenzhen, but no – it is not like any other Chinese Smartphone manufacturer. They have their own niche in quality devices that every now and then come up with unique features. One such great feature is cloud storage, and the Huawei Sonic U8650 is one such phone. Add the entry-level tag, and Android to it and there might be an interesting package waiting for us. Let’s discover!

hello, I am student & my parents are willing to buy me this phone. Your article is very well written.
Basically, I will use this phone for calls, messaging, facebook, saving college notes, skype, vimeo (checking videos), checking some blogs, livestream etc.
Please suggest if this phone is a right option. Thanks.
Hi Prabha, thanks for the appreciation. If you’re not the geek kinds who will tear the phone down or load it with all kinds of latest apps at the first opportunity – you can go for this phone. Just remember it’ll slow down if you are working on multiple things at a time. So go a little slow on him…
NO FRONT CAMERA, USING SKYPE WOULD BE PROBLEN
