The Google Play gift cards are finally available to help purchase any content from the Play Store. The cards have been launched in denominations of $10, $20 and $50, and are available across the US via select retails such as GameStop, Target and Radioshack
The search engine giant Google has officially announced the launch of the Play Store gift cards according to AndroidOS. The so called gift cards are currently available in the US at select retails such as GameStop, Target and RadioShack and carry values of $10, $20 and $50. The gift cards are only available in the US as of now, but Google is expected to launch the cards globally including India but is yet to make an announcement.
The Google Play card enables consumers to purchase music, movies, e-books, apps, games and many more from the Google Play Store, while consumers can also use these cards to grab in-app goods for their favorite games. Walmart.com is also set to sell the gift cards by the end of this month.
As per AndroidOS, the Play Store team has revealed that over the next few weeks the Google Play Cards would be rolled out to stores across the US and for that matter they have teamed up with Target, GameStop and RadioShack.
The launch of the gift cards is sure to relieve customers from their plastic money in order to purchase any content from the Play Store. Also, as many would agree, one need not share his credentials any more now since all he would need are some of these Google Play gift cards to pay for any contents on the Play Store.
