Now with another example Google have proved that they might be the only company that can beat Apple. A research firm claimed that Google’s new ad spot called Camping that promotes the new Google Nexus 7 tablet shows effectiveness than Apple’s Latest commercials.
To measure the effectiveness of the ads Ace Matrix, has showed the ads to 500 individuals who gave scores in area like persuasiveness and likelihood of watching again. According to Jonathan Symonds the research firms exec VP-marketing mentions that Google has taken strong emotional appeal and married that with strong product demonstration.
As reported by AdAge, the latest Apple ads showing a fictional Apple Store Genius Bar employee have been a ‘mixed bag’. As the report revealed the version showing the Apple employee on the street ‘scored in the bottom quintile’ however the plane version was under-middle quintile.
