GoNote, an Android Netbook on its way to the UK market
GoNote, an Android Netbooks from Ergo Electronics to get introduced soon, which will be sporting a Touchscreen

A new Netbook which is to be powered by Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich is expected to get introduced soon. This Netbook will be from the Ergo Electronics and will be called as the GoNote. It will be sporting a 10inch screen which is mostly common in Netbooks and will be capable of providing a resolution up to 1024 x 600piexls. Interestingly, the screen of this Netbook will be a 2-point multitouch screen which will help the users to interact with the Android applications.
The GoNote will run on a 1.2 GHz Rockchip RK2918 ARM cortex-A8 single core processor and will have a 1GB of RAM and a inbuilt storage of 8GB. Currently this device is expected to be released in UK and it might be priced at £149 which is around Rs 13090. Now we know there are a few Netbooks available at this range of price in the market but I am not sure those models might be featuring any multi-touch screen.
This model will be featuring a QWERTY keyboard along with a touchpad as found on a regular Netbook. The dimensions of this device measures 9.7 x 6.8 x 0.9 inches and it weighs around 0.95 Kg. As reported by Ergo, the 9000mAh battery equipped with the device will be sufficient for the device to run for 6 hours continuously while using Wi-Fi and surfing internet.
It also has the regular Netbook peripherals as the webcam, 4 USB 2.0 ports, a mini HDMI port and micro SD card slot for extra storage. This device also includes access to the Google Play Store, which will provide the users the option to run and download the android applications on the GoNote.
