There are a lot of Asian Electronic manufacturers that goes unnoticed although they provide decent or sometimes great specs at decent prices. For instance, Micromax in India has off-lately launched a lot of budget friendly smartphones at very competitive prices.

Fujitsu, a Japanese company has been long trying to do the same but regrettably isn’t able to capture market like the way Micromax is. Unmoved by that, the company is trying hard. They certainly know the Asian market potential and have come up with something much better than it’s predecessors. At least this is what appears from the offerings.

Agreed these are specs not new and there are tons of manufacturers offering these. To create something niche, Fujitsu has had the tab MIL-STD-810G certified which addresses resistance against a broad range of environmental conditions including exposure to high and low temperatures plus temperature shock (both operating and in storage); rain (including wind blown and freezing rain); humidity, fungus etc.

In addition to that, the company is providing one year coverage of Absolute Computrace service, a service aimed at tracking your lost device. The exact method is this has not been unveiled yet. It would be interesting to know how Fujitsu is covering this as there are many apps release in the Play Store already for tracking lost devices.

It seems that the Fujitsu Stylistic M532 would be made available in the States first $549 followed by Asian markets.

You can buy the tablet at the official Fujitsu website.
