Earlier this year, during the CES, Intel along with Lenovo introduced the Lenovo Racer-A (K800) Smartphone powered by Intel’s Medfield processor. The phone was clocked at 1.6GHz. AT & T shared the privilege along with Intel in displaying this one at the CES. The pioneer PC chip company also showed a prototype Smartphone assuring it to go on sale sometime during 2012. They have kept their promise. Lava, an unheard manufacturer is going to start selling the Lava Xolo X900 in India tomorrow.

It’ll sport a 4 inch display screen, 8 megapixel camera, will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread and of course a 1.6 GHz Intel Medfield processor. There are no details available on the pricing front. But Lava claims to feature smartphones that usually costs below 10,000 rupees INR. So, the pricing might be aimed at the budget community also. Looks like it’s a thinner version of the iPhone.

A Bloomberg UTV video posted on Match 27th showed Lava XOLO X900. It was reported then that the device would be available in India somewhere in April.  There’s no deviation at all in the Intel roadmap. The video shows the lesser resolutions of pixels than the Samsung galaxy SII, but which is turn is impressive. The Intel processor did live up to the expectations in the video, as 2 games and a HD video were played simultaneously without the slightest of lag. Also, switching between portions of the video clip was seamless. And this was possible because of the Intel Z2460 processor.
