Dual-SIM HTC Desire VC goes online, available for Rs 21,999 on Snapdeal
The Dual-SIM HTC Desire VC offers CDMA as well as GSM connectivity. Priced at Rs 21,999, the 4-inch handset is available online on Snapdeal and comes bundled with 25GB of dropbox along with free talktime as well as data usage for both CDMA post-paid and pre-paid subscribers
As per NDTV Gadgets, the Dual-SIM HTC Desire VC supports CDMA as well as GSM numbers just like Samsung Galaxy‘s Ace Duos which was released back in February this year. Apparently this is not the only dual-SIM handset from HTC. Back in June the company had released the HTC Desire V, which also featured dual-SIM but it supported only GSM numbers unlike the Desire VC, which supports both CDMA and GSM.
On purchase, HTC offers 25GB of dropbox space with the Desire VC and that’s not all. According to NDTV Gadgets, owners of the device would be bundled with TATA Docomo wherein the new CDMA post-paid subscribers would get double talktime of Rs 398 on the Diet 199 Plan for 3 bill cycles and 2GB of free EvDO data every month for the next 1 year. Also, the pre-paid CDMA customers would get double the talktime on select recharges for the initial 180 days and 1GB of free EvDO data per month for the first 6 months.
Now the specs, the Dual-SIM HTC Desire VC features a 4-inch LED screen with 480 x 800p resolution and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The device rides on a 1GHz Cortex A5 processor which is paired along with a 512MB RAM. The handset offers 4GB of internal storage which is expandable up-to 32GB via microSD, while we have a 5MP camera onboard with LED flash.
Other features include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB 2.0, GPS, DLNA and a 3.5mm audio jack. The handset measures 9.42mm in thickness and is pretty light at 118g only. The handset also houses a 1650 mAh battery and is being offered in a shade of black.
