Do not wait for the Notion Ink Adam if you need Honeycomb in your tablet immediately. Notion Ink CEO Rohan Shravan said on his blog that the Honeycomb update will only come after the release of Icecream Sandwich, Google’s next Android version that will reportedly run on both phones and tablets.
The reason for this, as Rohan describes, is that the Adam Honeycomb project is heavily inspired and built upon what the folks at TabletRoms have done. You will also find elements of BeastRom. There are still some work to be done to make Honeycomb ready.
For those late to the party, Notion Ink is an India-based company, Bangalore to be precise, that has released their first tablet earlier this year. The Adam, as it is called, stirred quite a few controversies (both good and bad) related to funds, release dates, specs etc. Below id their official site and the Blog.
