The Coolpad Note 3 Lite was launched in January last year, at just Rs 6,999. The smartphone offers most Coolpad Note 3 features in a lighter package. It features a 5-inch IPS display with HD resolution. The Note 3 Lite is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor along with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage [expandable up to 64GB]. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Cool UI 6.0 on top.

The Coolpad Note 3 Lite features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. There is also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera on-board.  The dual-SIM smartphone is backed by a 2500 mAh battery. Additionally, the company has added a fingerprint sensor 2.0, which supports 360-degree finger rotation and speedy recognition in 0.5 seconds. Over 30,000 units of Note 3 Lite were sold in just 21 seconds during its first flash sale on Amazon. While the second flash sale was also sold out [25,000 units].

Coolpad Max

The Coolpad Max was lauched in India in May, 2016 at INR 24,999 via The Indian variant came with 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage. It sports a 5.5-inch display with full HD resolution and is powered by a Snapdragon 617 processor.

The 4G smartphone features an Edge Curved Glass 2.5D screen reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 anti-scratch and anti-fingerprint coating films. It also came with new Coolpad fingerprint technology. The powerful smartphone comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It is backed by a 2800mAh battery with quick charge 3.0 feature.

The USP of Coolpad Max is the Dual In One technology. The unique dual-system comprises of an external open system and an internal security system which allows for encryption of the phone user’s calls and texts. Coolpad Mega 2.5D

The powerful smartphone was launched in August, 2016 at just Rs 6,999. The beautiful looking smartphone sports a 5.5-inch HD display with 2.5D glass. It comes with 8MP front and rear cameras. The metallic body only weighs 140 grams. It runs Cool UI on top of Android 6.0 OS. The Coolpad Mega 2.5D is powered by 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

Coolpad Note 5

The Coolpad Note 5 was launched in India in September, 2016 at Rs 10,999. The Note 5 smartphone features a metal uni-body with polished finish and fine cut edges. It also features a fingerprint sensor, which can unlock your device in just 0.5 seconds.

The new Coolpad Note 5 sports a 5.5-inch display with full HD [1080p] resolution and 267 ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. The Coolpad Note 5 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, CMOS sensor, 5P lens and dual LED flash. It also features an 8-megapixel front camera with 5P Lens, f/2.2 aperture, 80.1 degree wide angle and an LED flash. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Cool 8 UI on top and is backed by a huge 4,010mAh battery with quick charging technology.

Coolpad Cool 1 Dual

During the festive season last month, the Chinese comapny came up with its final offering of 2016. It partnered with LeEco to offer Coolpad Cool 1 Dual at just Rs 13,999. The Coolpad Cool 1 Dual sports a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution. It is powered by a 1.8 Ghz octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor along with Adrena 510 GPU and 32GB internal storage. It comes in 3GB or 4GB variants. The new handset runs on Android 6.0 operating system and features a fingerprint sensor.

The Cool 1 Dual sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF [phase-detection auto-focus], and a dual-tone LED flash. There is also an 8MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture and a wide 80-degree lens, on-board. The dual-SIM smartphone is backed by a huge 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging support. The beautiful looking smartphone is steal for teh customers looking for premium fetaures without burning a hole in their pockets.


Time and again, Coolpad has upped its game. Along with offering premium features at a budget price, the company has partnered with online e-commerce portals to sell its smartphones in India. Coolpad’s ‘value for money’ philosophy has paid off so far in the competitive smartphone market.
