Burg unveils five feature-rich Wristwatch phones in India

Burg, the Dutch gadget giant, has released a series of wristwatch phones in India yesterday. Showing off the Burg collection during the flagging off of its first exclusive shop in Kirti Nagar Moments Mall, Burg’s Global Sales Director Mr. Koen Pieters told, “India is the next focus destination for Burg in its global road map. We will keep introducing our wide range of futuristic products for Indian consumers at their door steps”

In Delhi, the company has opened 3 retail outlets in a day, and we were told there are plans to open 20 outlets of Burg within a span of next one year.

Coming to the wristwatch phones, some innovative models of Wrist Watch Mobile Phones were shown off for the Indian market including Burg 9, Burg 10, Burg11, Burg 12 and Burg 13 with varied features and pricing – ranging from Rs. 9,000 to Rs 24,000 (about $ 175 – 464).

The wristwatch phones feature some of the modern specs you would expect from your Smartphone like the internet through WAP 1.2.1, MP3 / MP4 Player, Frond facing camera, with 3x zoom function, Video recorder, Audio recorder, Voice recorder, Image viewer, File manager Organizer, Task list, Alarm clock, Calculator, Bluetooth capability SMS and MMS capability, Phone book up to 500 numbers, Call history Scratch resistance touch pad, Micro SD card slot, Vibrate function And availability of Multiple languages etc. – apart from of course ability of making and receiving phone calls.

The exclusive store spans about 350 sq. feet, and houses exclusive range of wrist watch mobile phones and cool accessories. The two other retail outlets of Delhi NCR are subsequently in MGF mall Gurgaon and Greater Kailash.

Burg already has significant presence in Italy, Germany, Russia, Mexico, United States of America, Spain, Chile, Venezuela, Norway, Switzerland etc. and now it has tainted the spot light on Asian countries including India.
