Soon after the launch of the Asus Eee Pad Transformer tablet globally, Asus has come up with a software update for the tablet users in Canada and the United States.

The last update for the Eee Pad Transformer was the upgrade from Android version 3.2 to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The recently released update brings the version 9.2.1.24 into action and deals with the bug fixes which cause to affect the system stability. In addition, it also provides support for Face Unlock, which lets you unlock the device by simply gazing into the front camera.

After the update, users have the power to lock the system bar when playing a game. The update which was released on 16th may hasn’t entirely solved the problem for some users though, as there are a few users who claim to be experiencing some stability issues.

The update has also brought a new options menu into the email app which helps users make some stability improvements for apps and even enhance the overall stability. Finally, the users demand has also been heard as the air-update has brought about the highly needed features to the Android’s AOSP email client, like threaded messaging, ability to sync schedules and the out-of-office responses. As many users have noticed, the update has brought about an update to the v8.27 to v8.30 of Bluetooth firmware, and this update was not even shown in the change logs. In case, you haven’t received the update yet just head over to the official website and grab a download link
