Archos now has nine new Arnova tablets

Archos have started introducing their 3rd generation products this year under its low-cost Arnova tablet line. Now they have been selling low cost tablets under the Arnova brand name for some time and in April Archos launched the Arnova 9 G3 and Arnova 10b G3 in the US.

Now if you visit the Arnova website, you will find that 9 different Gen3 tablets have been listed there. Leaving those that are already available, the rest are expected to be launched soon. All these tablets are designed to run Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich which sets them apart from their first and second generation counterparts. The Arnova Gen3 tablets are armed with 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processors and 1GB of RAM.

Although it looks like they will come with the AppsLib Market instead of the official Google Android Market, but last heard; Archos were hoping to work with Google to make their products Google certified, which would allow them to preinstall their devices with the Android Market and other Google applications including Gmail and Google Maps.

Here’s a quick look at the new tablets:

Arnova 10b G3:

1Ghz processor, 1 GB of RAM, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 10.1 inch wide screen display (1024 x 600), 630 grams and 12mm thick, 4GB of flash memory.

Arnova 9 G3:

1Ghz processor, 1GB of ram, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 9.7 inch screen display (1024 x 768), 630 grams and 12.5 mm thick, 4GB of flash memory.

Arnova 8 G3:

1Ghz processor, 1GB of ram, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 8 inch screen display (800 x 600), 510 grams and 11.5mm thick.

Arnova 8c G3:

1Ghz processor, 1GB of ram, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 8 inch screen display (800 x 600), 470 grams and 10mm thick.

Arnova 7 G3:

1Ghz processor, 1GB of ram, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 7 inch screen display (800 x 480), 12.6mm thick.

Arnova 7b G3:

1Ghz processor, 1GB of ram, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 7 inch screen display (800 x 480), 350grams and 12.6mm thick, 4GB of flash memory.

Arnova 7d G3:

1Ghz processor, 1GB of ram, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 7 inch screen display (800 x 480), 12.2mm thick, 4GB of flash memory.

Arnova 7f G3:

1Ghz processor, 1GB of ram, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 7 inch screen display (800 x 480), 10.85mm thick.

Arnova Childpad:

1Ghz processor, 1GB of ram, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 7 inch screen display (800 x 480), 380 grams and 12mm thick, 4GB of flash memory.

As of now price list for the tablets are not available on the Arnova website, but the least expensive one is expected to be available for $100. According to arctablet Arnova Childpad is expected to be around $129.
