App Watch: TV Guide India
TV Guide India promises to give you updated schedule of 150+ Indian TV programs. These programs range across 15 languages. It is one of the more popular apps, downloaded over 25000 downloaded in a month. You can bookmark your favorite channels, group shows either by channels or time, get listings for up to 7 days in advance, IMDb and Google search on description page, move 2 SD (App 2 SD) enabled and the app works on Phones and Tablets as well.
While opening the app for the first time, it’ll prompt you to select the channels you would like to track. It has almost all the channels you’d want. For any channel, I got the correct programs from the immediate till 24hrs later. The quick select tab is good, click it and you can select a program to see its schedule.
All in all a nice app to quickly check the programs so that you cannot forget one.
Wishlist: a reminder with an alarm of your favorite programs.
Update: It gives the following error while downloading remaining schedule on Gingerbread. Testing phone: Desire HD. Let me know if you too are getting this error.
