Android has shown it’s versatility across phones, tablets, Televisions and even watches. Now, a Sony PlayStation Vita like gaming console has arrived namely DroidX360. However, this emulated gaming console runs on Android 4.0 (IceCream Sandwich) and not on Sony’s patent operating system Vita. It doesn’t look bad for first time gamers and one who is not addicted to Sony alone, sports a 1.5 GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage. It also sports a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3 MP front camera. The display size is 5 inches.
Two analog sticks, a D-pad, 4 front buttons and two shoulder buttons cover up hand controls. The HDMI slot makes sure you enjoy games on your TV and the mini USB port lets you charge the device. The Droid X360 is pre-loaded with nine video game emulators for you to run Nintendo 64, PlayStation, Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color, NES, SNES, Sega Genesis and Sega Game Gear games.
These kind of devices are not new to India and the DroidX360 can be well anticipated. However, it might not be available in the States because of a patent/lawsuit issue.
