Aircel has slashed the Apple iPhone 3GS prices to Rs. 9,999

It is happy news for the people who desire to own an Apple iPhone, and waiting for its prices to be brought down. As Aircel has cut down the price of Apple iPhone 3GS 8GB model and it is offering now for Rs. 9,999. However, this offer is for provided only for post-paid subscribers as of now, and is soon expected to be availed for prepaid subscribers as well.

Currently Aircel and Airtel are the two network providers that are offering Apple iPhone 3GS in India. Hitherto, Airtel is selling this third generation iPhone for Rs 20,908, and has not declared any news regarding decrease in its price. Thus, Aircel will be providing this device for less than half the price of the Airtel.

Aircel will be additionally charging Rs 3000 as an advance rental for the service usage. Through this advance rental, subscribers will be getting access to the 3G data usage for one year, with up to 2GB per month and thereafter users will get access to the unlimited 2G data usage at the speed of 128kbps. But this opportunity is available only in the circles where 3G services are offered, and conversely, there is valued deal for the subscribers from the circles where 3G service is not available. Here subscribers will be provided with 2,500 local and national SMS, 100 minutes of local and STD calls and unlimited 2G data for a period of six months.

Nevertheless, if an Aircel subscriber chooses to go with the ‘Money Saver Plan,’ then they would have to pay Rs.20,990 for this iPhone.

Aircel is also selling Apple iPhone4 16 GB model for Rs.34,500 and Apple iPhone4 32 GB for Rs. 40,900 while Airtel’s website has listed both these variants as ‘out of stock’.
